People remaining in city enjoy a display of fireworks on the midnight of Tet before heading to their homes. Tet is spent with family during the first couple of days. Massive home cooked meals are eaten together including sticky rice, spring rolls and other foods you might fight on the menu at a Vietnamese restaurant. After eating, lucky money is given to the younger family members and relatives. After a few days with family, friends get together to play card games, board games and do other various activities.
